Re: XenServer

I would expect it works, but we haven't tried. If you try, could you report back if you got it to work, or what the obstacles are?

Thanks,

Johannes.

Re: nextcloud + mac os x Contacts app

To clarify: please correct me if I misunderstand you: * You are attempting to subscribe to both a calendar, and an address book, from both MacOS and iOS. * The calendar works on both devices * The contacts work on iOS but not on the Mac? If it works on one but not the other, how do the incoming HTTP...

Re: Google cloud?

We haven't tried. Actually, I have never used Google cloud, so I don't know whether it can be done or not. Chances are one can create some kind of boot image with ubos-install, just like we do on Amazon EC2.

About lost e-mails sent from this site

TLDR: If you registered for this site, but did not receive your confirmation e-mail, please try again. The problem should be fixed now. More details: It was reported (thanks! we know who you are but don't want to "out" you!) that this forum sent e-mail from localhost.localdomain rather than from ub...

Re: Available apps

Link to the issue?

My point was not so much to create an issue, but to provide all necessary information that somebody like me has some idea what this is all about. E.g. you did not provide platform, error message, ... unless it's actionable, well, it's not actionable.

Re: Hardened?

Sounds good. We worked that list down at some point I believe but we don't track it for updates. Please file a bug if you notice something should be different than it is.

Re: Hardened?

Thank you! :-) UBOS is fairly locked down; of course, this being computers, and humans messing with those computers, there is no guarantee ... however, we have started doing port scans during testing. To test yourself, run nmap from a different device. What exact ports are open depends on the netcon...

Re: Missing https cert

UBOS does SNI so we can do different certs for different hostnames on the same device: https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/NameBasedSSLVHostsWithSNI So if you connect like you do with openssl you will get the default cert, which is indeed localhost.localdomain and self-generated. I don't know off-hand whe...
